Their close-range limitations mean that, in general, players are much more likely to arm themselves with a SMG.

Twitch streamer “Invadervie” is coming under fire after shaming unsubscribed viewers for not supporting her channel monetarily — in spite of current global events that have caused many to lose their jobs, entirely. Like many live streaming platforms, Twitch allows viewers a myriad of ways to support their favorite content creators, by directly donating, subscribing, and even gifting subscriptions to other users. However, subscriptions come at a cost, and generally include various tiers, with viewers getting more benefits depending on how much they pay.

KEEMSTAR slams YouTube "mob" culture as he retires from DramaAlert

YouTube commentator Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem announced that he is retiring from his DramaAlert show, claiming that he is tired of hate mobs and that it’s “sad” and “pathetic.” On October 25, the 39-year-old shocked the internet with a tweet that read “I am retiring, full statement later today.” Many assumed it to be a joke or a troll, but just a day later on October 26, he uploaded a DramaAlert video titled “Retired” and in it, explained he doesn’t find YouTube “fun” anymore because of “mob” culture and revealed that he really is leaving the platform.

Twitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel leaked a series of Discord DMs between himself and fellow streamer Trainwrecks revealing why he stopped gambling broadcasts. Gambling streamers have been quite problematic on Twitch in recent months. While the controversial hot tub and ASMR metas have garnered a plethora of headlines, casino broadcasts have been widely criticized as well. While xQc had been one of the big streamers partaking in the gambling craze, he stopped early in June, claiming that he gets addicted to things too easily and that he “had to stop,” it seems that may not entirely be the case.

Minecraft streamers Ranboo & Tubbo sign with Misfits Gaming

Misfits Gaming are continuing their descent into the world of Minecraft by signing two of the game’s biggest content creators: Ranboo and Tubbo. On February 2, the gaming and esports org announced their new additions as Minecraft continues to thrive on Twitch, YouTube, and social media. Misfits, known primarily as an esports org with a number of rosters, have been pushing into Minecraft content since 2021. The org already has popular teams across Rocket League, League of Legends, Call of Duty (Florida Mutineers), Overwatch (Florida Mayhem), and other titles.

In an interview with Dexerto, PointCrow details how his highly anticipated multiplayer mod for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will likely release later this year. In November 2021, popular Nintendo-centric content creator PointCrow posted a $10,000 bounty for whoever could create a multiplayer mod for Breath of the Wild. He also set a number of parameters the mod would need in order to qualify for the bounty.

Pro Valorant player Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo and his girlfriend, ‘Kyedae’ are offering to buy a PC for a 15-year-old streamer after her father destroyed hers by throwing it into a pool. Back on March 12, Twitch streamer and YouTuber NarwhalFPS revealed her father threw her PC in their pool after she had an argument with her sister. To make matters worse, it was a PC she had purchased with her own money she made through YouTube.
